I had the distinct pleasure of working closely with Jessie for over two years while she handled recruiting across a wide range of roles for our company. A few super strengths of Jessie’s to call out:

Flexibility + Creativity - Given Jessie’s experience level, she can run a process to source and hire candidates for “standard” roles in her sleep (I’m defining standard as relatively common job functions that exist across a wide range of companies). But where Jessie really shines and where I enjoyed working closely with her was on more “unicorn” hires or first-of-kind job functions. Jessie displayed a level of creativity to see opportunity in candidates and was quick to iterate her approach to land on high-impact hires.

Responsiveness - Jessie brings a work ethic and level of determination to help grow a company that is to be admired. She’ll work around the clock to meet deadlines of filling mission critical roles while never settling for “good enough” candidates.

Proactivity - Lastly, Jessie is always out hustling, building and harvesting her network of excellent people and thinking about where a company may grow in terms of hiring needs and initiating conversations with potential hires early and often.

I would be remiss to say that in addition to all of the above, Jessie does an excellent job while always having a smile on her face. The joy she approaches her job with – regardless of the circumstance – makes her a joy to work with and someone I would happily partner with again down the road!
